Candidates
running on the Michigan FairTax proposal need
every letter to the editor, call to your radio and
TV station that you can make within the next
twenty four hours!
As Editor of the Clarion
Sentinel and State Media Director I am not asking
for money, I am asking for your civic duty, to
participate by bombarding your local media with
the truth about the Michigan FairTax. Below I have
enclosed some sample letters and arguments that
you may use. Please copy and paste, call, fax, or
otherwise contact everyone possible in your media
area, the roar must be deafening. As a loyal
FairTax supporter I have come to know you can be
counted on to act when their is a specific need
for action. Accept what I have written below, add
to or delete as you see fit, but the bottom line
must be a flood of emails and calls so intense
that the media cannot ignore the FairTax and those
who support it.

TWISTED TRUTH A tactic used by those
who would steal our liberties for personal gain,
hide our true tax burden, and continue to destroy
Michigan's jobs. Reckless spending to
buy votes, abuse of power by selling the tax code,
anything to retain power. The ploy that
perpetuates the status quo that keeps Michigan
down and out. The FairTax is not a higher
tax, it is a different tax, a tax applied equally,
a tax that improves every citizens quality of
life. Why would any gubernatorial candidate
insist on airing dishonest half-truths about such
a plan? Haven't we had enough of dishonest
politicians and their empty promises? Let's
put Michigan on the road to prosperity, the road
laid out by respected economists, the road that
returns fiscal power in Michigan to its citizens.
The road I support is called Michigan
FairTax.

THE GOAL
They call it
"Crazy"! Insanity however, is doing the same
thing over again and expecting different
results. There are many courageous candidates
in this years primary elections running on the
plan that will give Michigan back its prosperity.
To label the plan as a tax increase is an outright
falsehood, an attempt to continue the policies of
the past. The plan is called Michigan
FairTax, and the opposition is running scared. The
FairTax is the only proven and researched plan
that can turn Michigan's economy around in short
order with justice and equality for all of
Michigan's citizens and business. For these
reasons I support a Michigan
FairTax.
